MAIN BRENAISSANCE HALL - CAPACITY 250 GUESTS
The Main Brenaissance Hall is a large versatile space that is characterised by its contemporary black & white décor, classic mouldings & “blank canvas” appeal. Whether you’re planning a farm-style wedding, modern & sophisticated gala, classic all-white celebration, or elegant vintage affair, this awe-inspiring space has the potential to become whatever you envision it to be. 

Featuring antique carved wooden doors & glittering crystal chandeliers, the venue is classic yet modern in its design, & the overarching black & white colour scheme, combined with the light & airy ambiance, sets the scene for a truly spectacular celebration.

ROSE CONSERVATORY - CAPACITY 200 GUESTS
The Rose Conservatory (Chapel) is our pride & joy – a light, airy space that’s magical in its elegant simplicity. In fact, despite the lush evergreen gardens, most of Brenaissance bridal couples choose this charming chapel over an outdoor wedding ceremony. Words cannot describe the sense of blissful serenity that captures the heart when you step inside this classic-contemporary chapel, & we invite you to experience it for yourself by booking a site visit. Over & above the large mirrors, charming fireplaces, carved wooden doors & delicate wrought iron trim, the Rose Conservatory (Chapel) is most memorable for its wall of glass windows that invites Mother Nature inside while protecting guests & bridal couple from the outdoor elements.

RIVER DECK - CAPACITY 50 GUESTS
Combine the melodic babble of a meandering stream with the rustle of fig leaves dancing in the breeze, & you have the perfect setting for afternoon canapés or a cocktail party at sunset. The River Deck is perched on the edge of the stream, under the watchful eye of our 40-year-old fig trees, & overlooking the orchard & the majestic mountains of the Devon Valley. Surrounded by perfectly manicured lawns & clipped hedges, there is no better place to set up outdoor lounge pockets or play a lawn game or two with a glass of Brenaissance award-winning wine in hand. The deck has power outlets for live outdoor entertainment, & the trees form the perfect base for feature lighting.

LANDSCAPE - CAPACITY 300 GUESTS
Brenaissance is a photographer & videographer’s dream. Featuring picturesque landscapes & breath-taking natural scenery, there is certainly no shortage of backdrops for your wedding photos & video. Some of the highlights include the plum orchard (especially in spring, when the trees are in full bloom), the evergreen gardens with feature mirrors, mountains ranges, vineyards, luxury suite & more. WINE DECK - CAPACITY 40 GUESTS
The Wine Deck is an intimate space, tucked away in the middle of a plum orchard – within easy reach of the restaurant kitchen & farm accommodation, yet completely secluded & private. Constructed out of old vines & a modernised shipping container, this venue is ideal for a rehearsal dinner or family luncheon before or after your event. Please note the use of this venue is weather dependent.

POOL HOUSE - CAPACITY POOL HOUSE & DECK 150 GUESTS - CAPACITY POOL HOUSE 50 GUESTS
The Pool House is a private & contemporary venue, overlooking surrounding mountains, plum orchards & vineyards. Characterised by its crystal blue pool & relaxation deck, this modern monotone space is perfect for an intimate family gathering. The space features an indoor lounge & dining area, where breakfast is served for our in-house guests, as well as a scenic outdoor dining area - the perfect vantage point for a perfect sunset.

What used to be our historic “dorpshuisies” have been restored & refurbished into 8 exquisite Vineyard Suites & 1 spacious Honeymoon Suite, featuring breath-taking views of the valley from the “stoep”.

In the middle of a small plum orchard, you’ll find our 6 Orchard Suites – the old labourers’ cottages that have been restored & renovated to exude elegance & luxury.

Ranging from studios & 1-bedroom suites to the more spacious family units, each unit has its own cast iron wood burning fireplace, mini private deck & braai area – not to mention fully equipped kitchen to accommodate longer stays. Guests can also enjoy exclusive access to the Pool House & use of the pool, deck chairs & facilities.

We believe that wine is made in the vineyard. At Brenaissance we focus all our energy & attention on growing the best fruit possible from our terroir. We are not winemakers & do not profess to be, that’s why we have hand selected well-known wineries from the Stellenbosch region to craft our wines with us.

Brenaissance consistently aims to achieve wines that are dark & deep in colour, fruity & intense in flavour, individual in character, smooth & well-balanced. We believe in specialisation & diversification. In selecting specific wineries to oversee the individual varietals, we have established a team of passionate specialists that we work side by side with a diverse & uniquely complete range of wines.

We invite you to taste the fruits of our labour. During summer, we host our wine tastings out on the wine deck, in the middle of the plum orchard; while winter calls for a glass of red inside our cosy on-site restaurant, The Farmers Pantry.

BORAN STUD, STELLENBOSCH

Brenaissance is known for many things - exceptional wine, stunning venues, & now, one of the largest Boran studs in the world.

Our aim is to breed the finest Boran stud animals - not only in the Western Cape, but nationwide. 

Working with top specialists & based on stringent selection & criteria, we handpick only the best quality female animals from around South Africa. Coupled with the selection of a diverse range of breeding bloodlines, we aim to introduce a selective breeding programme, working with the top stud sires in the country. The implementation of this programme will ensure an extremely strong & balanced foundation for any future breeding of Boran in South Africa.
